I absolutely loved this book. It's probably because I'm an animal nut anyway, and until January 18 of this year, I had a yellow lab mix (Emily), but I read it in one sitting. Especially at the end of the book, it really made me miss Emily ~ yes, I had a little boo-hoo session ~ but it was very well-written, and made me laugh out loud at several points. I really admire the Grogan family for sticking with this dog despite all his faults because dogs like this end up in shelters and euthanized every day in this country. I also have an Airedale mix, about whose behavior I perpetually complain, but this book made me feel like she's a saint! If you like dogs at all, you should really enjoy this book. I highly recommend it.
