Back in the '80's Jackie Collins ruled as the one of the Queens of Big Hair and Raunchy Writers.
I was really into The Lucky Santangelo series from this era.
I think this is the third book.
Lucky is a great character. She takes all kinds of chances on love and life. Occasionally she makes a truly bad decision and lives to regret it.
Being the daughter of a infamous mobster has got to be hard.
Lucky's life consisted of having too much money, boarding schools, not enough of the right kind of love and being wild.
She has to keep proving that she is just as good as her daddy in all circles of her world. Including Hollywood-her ultimate dream.
To a certain degree this works well for her.
In this book we find her reaching for the one of her fondest dreams-to control a major Hollywood studio.
Will Lucky finally prove that whatever she wants she will find a way to get it?
Will she finally have too much kinky sex with anything that walks?
Can she survive the world that she is so intent on creating for herself?
The answers to these questions and more are just a page away.
