NYPD homicide detective John Corey doesn't like mysteries which is why he likes to solve them. Convalescing in Long Island after a bullet to the head, two biologists who are rumored to be involved with germ warfare are murdered and through his investigation, Corey comes to understand himself.

found at the Publix Customer Service Desk in Williamsburg. They found them near the scale. I plan on reading this one and returning to the bench.

The story was good; the mystery keeps your attention. I did read it to the end. The author has a low opinion of women or his readers or his own writing ability or all of the above. Basically he portrays his main character as a male pig and women as weak. It doesn't add anything to the story - probably detracts from it. I'll put it back on the bench where I found it.
