An Atwood, and about Penelope... so will she be wandering in this book? Great birthday present, still have to read it, but it will most likely be a keeper.

This was given to me by my niece years ago, as she knew my fascination with Penelope (hence my nick)... So glad I pulled this from the shelf - Atwood's writing reels the reader in like a lasso. The various voices, of Penelope herself and her maids, are so varied and compelling. Only the end left me feeling slightly suspended, pun intended. Excellent read nonetheless.
