Read this a long time ago. Awaiting release on my bookshelf. Different cover to one here.

Set in New Hampshire 1929. Sexton and Honora start their new life in the house at Fortune Rocks and their love is tested to the limit. Times are hard and with the Wall Street crash looming and the mill workers at Ely Falls are preparing for the worst.

Typical Anita Shreve storytelling.
