Wow, talk about memory loss! I finished the book soon after my last journal entry, but forgot to review it!
I liked it - but 3 months later couldn't come up with a succinct review - which means it didn't really stand out. There were a lot of stories going on all at the same time, which made it a complex read.

Too late I find out that this author doesn't really do much for me. I realized after finishing the book that I'd read The Jane Austen Book Club and didn't like it either.
I don't know, Sarah Canary was never a real character, just a device for the other characters to have adventures. The factual stuff was cool though, the strange things that happened at the time.
Now travelling to Austria for a wishlist tag.
