I like Gwen Hunter's writing and really enjoyed some of her books such as "Prescribed Danger" etc. This one is a little different in that the setting isn't medical and "Dr. Rhea Lynch" isn't there But Mackenzie Morgan proves to be a force to be reckoned with when it comes to dealing with the abduction of her daughter by a backwoods drifter on horseback and her soon-to-be ex-husband.
