We are a first grade class at Hillcrest Elementary School in Waukesha, WI. This is a class project with the intention of spreading the joy of reading to others.

RELEASE NOTES:

I got the book from my first grade teacher in Waukesha, Wisconsin. My dad read it to me. We had fun. I'm sending the book to Chicago, Illinois with my aunt. Then she might take it to France.

My nephew in Wisconsin passed it to me while I was visiting for Christmas from France. I took it to Chicago to read to the children of friends there. It will leave with me and go to France where I will share it with an American friend teaching English in a gradeschool in Paris.

I read the book and then my 7 year-old nephew read the book, while he was on vacation in Paris last week. We both liked it. I enjoyed the fun plot and the vivid pictures. I am an English teacher in a French elementary school. I will try to read it to my students (but it may be too difficult for them to understand). After, I hope to pass it on to another English teacher in France.

I read the book to a group of 5th grade French students who are beginning to learn English. Afterwards I asked them their opinion. They rated the book a 10 and really liked the story, its imaginative perspective, and the characters.
