Hmmm, hard to believe this was written by author of Popcorn .Popcorn was fast -paced, tightly written ,funny and satirical.
Past Mortem had lot of potential - Friends Reunited is central to the rather clever plot. However I found the writing amateurish and some of the dialogue was very weak. In my opinion, the very unpleasant sex scene was only included in order that Elton could make a particular joke later in the book - I won't spoil the joke by mentioning it!
I have read very positive reviews of this book ,so I hope that you enjoy it more than I did.
