I personally thought this book was severely depressing... I must have liked it enough to read on, however since I also read the 2nd and most of the 3rd books in this trilogy. I kept reading because I hoped it would get better, since I love Robin Hobb's ‘Liveship Traders’ Trilogy. From what I've experienced, most people prefer this series so I'll release these books in the hope that someone will enjoy them more than I did.
I shipped this book to DreamSE22 as part of the "Sci-Fi/Fantasy Number Ones - International" relay last week. Hope she enjoys it more than I did.
I love trying out books other people couldn't get into, just for fun. I love sci-fi/fantasy series, and I've seen this one in the bookstore, so I am willing to give it a try! :) Thanks so much for sending.
