This book annoyed me in several ways: it tries to be sophisticated but it's not; it tries to be deep but it's not; and it also is extremely addictive- you have to keep reading it till the end! (Which annoyed me since it was such an extremely unrealistic, stupid book.) Kind of mindless but also gripping and entertaining.... maybe it's a good book to read on a vacation or long trip, just to be entertained. But, maybe someone else will like it better than I did. After all, it did win several major awards.
