Sometimes better (more grown up) than his better known On the Road it gives a graphical account of what happens inside the head of a catholic caught on speed. Amazing how Kerouac is able to write as if it is happening at the moment you are reading it. Nice inside account of wild sixties and pitfalls of the fast and furious mind.

Thanks for sending me this book! I will have to read "On the Road" first, since this is the followup. To be read, hopefully during my Christmas break.
