This is the running order for the bookray. Just a few rules:
1. please journal when you receive the book
2. PM the next person on the list for their address
3. Try to read the book in reasonable time (4-6 weeks)
4. Journal it and let me know what you think!
5. Mail it on - if posting overseas, surface mail is fine.
6. Last person can extend the ray/RABCK/wild release - whatever they fancy!

Came today. I have already read this book and loved it. I received a request to pass on my copy to another BXer, which I did. Then I saw it offered on the bookring forum and realised I wanted to read it again. So here it is. I will read as quick as I can and keep it moving.

I'm glad I have now read this but I was a little... well, disappointed isn't really the word. I'm not sure what is. I was expecting the slight ickiness of a lot of magic realism but, as the quotations inside say, it's not for the faint of heart or stomach and I found bits of it a bit much. I was also a bit let down by the ending although it obviously fitted the work. In summary - glad I read it but A Bit Much For Me.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a nice light read after the epic I just finished! I am going to the Post office this afternoon so it will be on its way to Bookreadera in USA.
arrived this afternoon. I have a mini-MT TBR in front of it and then I'll see if I can continue the ray : )
