The Silmarillion

So, this is the prequel to The Lord of the Rings. To me, it's a much darker story, and also very complicated, because of the many characters and places. But it's better than the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. I've read it like 8 times in about 10 years, and I still love it. I'd keep it to read it again, but I'm gonna let someone else enjoy it. I would have registered my other edition, but I lost it somewhere. It was much more fun, because it has a bigger map, and around the middle of the book, it has coffee stains all over the pages. I was choking on my coffee and I spit it out. It may sound gross, but it brings back so many memories. But don't worry, this one is just worn out on the edges.
