Once I got over the initial shock of the book's premise, I found myself fully enjoying this book. The concept of a coming of age novel from beyond this life is original and makes for a stimulating read.

2 of 10 pulled out of the Bestsellers Bookbox. I'm adding this to Mt TBR.
I wish I could rate this one higher but it just didn't appeal to me. I liked the story line, even tho the murder of a young girl is tragic. The concept was interesting - with the narrator being a removed 3rd party observer for the majority of the book. But honestly I had a hard time following anything in chronological order. The narrator would jump from present time to memory and back again in the same paragraph and I found myself having to re-read in order to get things straight. Frustrated me. Frankly, I wish the book had ended about 100 pages sooner than it did.
I plan to pass this along and hope the next reader enjoys it more than I did.

The book is here. Arrived on saturday. I am looking forward reading this one. Will journal again soon. Thank you saidenuj for the trade.
I finally finished reading this book.Quite a strange story narrated by a dead girl who observed her family from heaven. Mesmerizing, humor and intellegence, a good book worth reading.
