I came across this book (earlier edition with different cover than shown) in a local Annie's Bookstop today during one of my usual browsing expeditions. The author's name caught my eye as we were in the same D&D group many years ago, so of course I had to get the book.
It's an amusing and lively re-telling of the Robin Hood story, with some new characters and some new looks at the old familiar names. I loved the bit where Robin's people are practicing their ambush-the-traveling-merchant skills; clearly they had to practice some time, but that never seems to have made it into the original ballads!

I found this book on the entry of Panera Bread in Concord, NH only minutes after it was left there apparently. A few days later I drove across the country and the book sat on the dash of our pick up truck as we crossed almost 4,000 miles mostly through Canada from NH to Juneau, Alaska. This little book has come a long way. I am almost finished reading it and will soon release it to the world again.
I left this book on a counter in the Heritage Coffee company cafe downtown Juneau, one week ago.
