The Wave

I bought this book to release it on the occasion of WYD2005 (World Youth Day 2005) in Cologne. It's part of a bookbox I bought at an eBay-auction. I plan to release one half of the books at OBCZ Königsblut and the other half on the occasion of World Youth Day 2005 in Cologne!
blurb:
Ron Jones, a former high-school teacher from San Francisco, attempted in 1969 to teach his pupils the realities of facism by encouraging them to form a kind of classroom Hitler Youth. This movement became so popular that the life of the whole school was affected. Jones later wrote down his experiences with his history class, and published this as a report entitled "The Third Wave". It was published in many magazines and won Jones instant fame. He was interviewed by radio stations and newspapers, and even appereared on the famous TV news show "Good Morning America". Later the story was made into a successful film which was shown on American TV in the autumn of 1981. After this broadcast the novelization rights of the TV film were sold to a large American publishing company which then commissioned a well-known writer of young adult fiction, Todd Strasser, to write the novelization of the film version. This he did under the pseudonym Morton Rhue. Ever since its appearance in book form the novel has been extremely popular among young adult readers.

Journal Entry 4 by sillesoeren from Hürth, Nordrhein-Westfalen Germany on Wednesday, August 24, 2005
released. Wenn eine der Varianten bevorzugt oder nicht gewünscht sein sollte, bitte kurze Info per PM an mich.
Edit:
Meanwhile I read it. It was very impressing.

Receiving this book confuzed me a lot... I was not expecting anything, I couldn't recall participating in any ring or ray, I just couldn't think of anything!
Thank you sillesoeren!
P.S. Really clever idea! Bookcrossing meets postcrossing again! ;-)
Really interesting book! A little bit scary though... The human brain sometimes reacts in a strange way...
