I bought this in a second hand shop in Lerwick, when I realised i might not have enough books to read on the ferry home! It's in good condition.

This is Coupland at his best! Thoughtful and thought provoking, serious and amusing, full of odd characters and bizarre anecdotes, plus its illustrated! Themes range from contemplation of nuclear war to the death of pets, but all the time he is wondering just where do people find their meaning and their faith in an increasingly secular world. There are some wonderful moments and less of the irritating voice that I feel mars some of his books (like All Families are Psychotic). So all in all its a good read!

Found this book in Susie's. It looks good. I'm going to read it when I've finished "The Case of the General's Thumb" by Andrey Kurkov

Just found the book left in the coffee shop where I work. Plan to take it home, read it then let it move on to pastures new!

I really tried to get into this book but unfortunately it wasn't for me. Have released it again so we'll see what the next person thinks!
