This book portrays magic in an extraoridnary way! It's more than just waving a wand and saying things; no, this is ever so much more complex, involving calculations of the energy of the universe, the Speech, and more ... reading it will half-convince you that it exists!
In the beginning of the book, Nita finds a book, one she's never seen before, called 'So You Want to be a Wizard'. Opening it, she sees a formal looking Oath, and takes it. So begins this wizardly adventure, for soon she comes upon another teenaged wizard named Kit. Their very first spell accidentally brings to Earth a White Hole (with it's masses left behind, of course!), and suddenly they're on a search to find the Book of Moon which contradicts the Dark One.
But as everyone in the wizarding world knows, there are no accidents.
