Written in 1971, this is classic Phyllis Whitney. I remember enjoying it when it came out; I'd just graduated from high school.
It's actually a romantic suspense novel, but I can't edit the book details. I recall it was quite the page-turner.

Rec'd 7/4/05 when I met Pyan at her house to pick up my book box! What a nice visit we had! Thanks for the books Pyan. (Hope you don't mind the same journal entry for each) I would have journaled them yesterday but I've been putting up with a scaredy-cat dog (because of the fireworks/crackers going off)and then no power for a good many hours today due to new telephone poles going up on our road.
