Athene Forster embraced the Sixties like few others. Nicknamed the Last Deb, she is spoilt, beautiful, and out of control. And within two years of her marriage, the rumours have begun again.

Very reminiscent of Mary Wesley, I think this book would have liked to have thought itself a step above the average chick lit. However, the various plot elements placed it firmly in that genre - just with an upper middle class twist!

I loved this book. The story jumped about at first but by page 160 it was all falling into place.
A really good read with some lovely characters.
Thanks Mytilus & Beebarf.

I'll probably leave it at an OBCZ.

Picked up this book at the Unconvention. It will go on my TBR pile for a while and then I will share it with local bookcrossers.

I bought this book in a hospice shop in Petersfield. I read it on my flight to Corfu - where it will rest for a while in Afionas, North West Corfu. Yes, definitely chick lit but an enjoyable read nevertheless.
