The most amazing and touching thing about this book is the fact that the author is paralyzed and the only way he has of communicating anything with the world is by blinking one eyelid. He painstakingly dictated the whole book solely by blinking his eyelid as the other person was working their way through the alphabet letter by letter. They would do this until they could tell what the word was supposed to be. Quite an ordeal to go through for him to tell us of his world.

Well worth a read.
