I have had this book a long time and tried to read it every so often. I could not get into it. The subject matter didn'tdeter me - I just couldn't connect with the relationship pictured through the letters of the two women.
I have just tried again. Funny isn't it when sometimes you just aren't ready for a particular book?
I lost my son through a road accident two years ago. He was 29 and the apple of my eye. I have been grieving and making pretty good progress towards peace and acceptance.
This book describes the grieving process and as I read I am nodding in agreement. My feelings are being vindicated and validated and I can feel the healing accelerating.
Thanks for posting this book out.
