Do you remember the film, International Velevet? Well, this book is just like it, in fact all of the dialogue has been lifted straight from the script. Making a very sparse and rather jumpy book. The kind of editing needed for films works because the pictures fill in the blanks, but here in this book there is so little more to it that it reads in a curiously jumpy way.

Nonetheless, a sweet story, worth reading if you're into horses. But perhaps not worth keeping afterwoods!
