The author has interviewed 42 people who were personally associated with Anne Frank in some way in her life. It was interesting to read others views on the child and young woman she was becoming. Always sobering to read about that period of time in our history where people were treated as subhumans. Her story lives because she was able to write it down, but many had lived her life.
