It's a new month... time for some new bug fixes!
While Matt is still working on harnessing the book data that we all have contributed to, and making it available for searches, he's also been rather busy fixing other things, and even adding some nifty little features. Read all about it in this Announcements forum post.Nickel and Dimed

The author tries to walk in the shoes of minimum wage earners.
Borrowed this one from the previous journaler. A book every bit as compelling as the critical praise suggests, it is a fantastic - if disturbing - read that will open some eyes. The problems it describes will prove difficult to redress, and the author, for all her unfortunate hubris, does not even presume to know all the answers. Without exposés such as this, however, the lives of the working poor might forever remain curiously invisible even (perhaps especially) to those with the power and, one hopes, the compassion to work toward a solution.
