I found myself on a business trip without a book. Not good. Picked this one up at Simply Books at DFW Terminal D enroute to Mexico City. Other than work, just about couldn't put this down.
This is an excellently written account of CW3 Michael Durant's service and capture in Somalia (the other Black Hawk Down). Consider this required reading. It takes you closer than comfortable to the reality of war.
Can't say enough about the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces who serve around the world defending and protecting freedom we enjoy here at home, and the freedom that some people (Somalis) can't seem to grasp.

Controlled release to my Dad, who is likely to release it somewhere in Florida. Great book. I might just go buy a copy so I can release it here in Austin.
