This book covers so many categories - geology, history, travel....so I just lumped it all together and assigned it to "nonfiction". One of these days, I want to go back to Wyoming and wander around with this book as a guide. I haven't been there since I read this, but my memories of the southern part of the state are so strong, and his writing so evocative, that I could almost see the places he talks about. It really is an amazing place, and this book is definitely up to the task of capturing some of the history & landscape of the region.
