Thanks redclayrambler. I picked up the shipping news today in Helios. I'm really looking forward to reading it. I plan to release it into the wild in my air travels, maybe in the international terminal at Dulles.
I hung on to this one far too long after I read it. Ten lashes with a wet noodle for me. Pulitzer Prize winner or not, I found this one difficult to stay with until midway through the book when the characters were more fully developed. Even then, I did not finish this book with any feeling that I had been changed by reading it. C'est la vie. I passed this one on today to my friend T.
