Dave Barry In Cyberspace

My favorite humorist, and in my opinion one of the funniest people alive today, does his expectedly hilarious send-up of computers, the Internet and the like. I didn't actually have a computer when I read this book, and now that I do it's even funnier! What amazes me is that for all his deprecating remarks, Dave makes it clear that he actually likes computers--I shudder to think what the book would have been like if he didn't! A highlight chapter is the one on unusual websites, including "Deformed Frog Pictures" and "Cursing in Swedish".

Just recieved this book in the mail from Hawaiianheat. I'm looking forward to reading it! Nothing like a little Dave Barry to help you laugh at life and realize that you've been taking things a tad too seriously...
Thank you, Hawaiianheat!

Oops. Got this and another Dave Barry in the mail and forgot to make a journal note for this one Thanks for this one, too!
Even 7 years old, it's still spot on. I especially enjoyed Chapter 8, Word Processing: If God Had Wanted Us to Be Concise He Wouldn't Have Given Us So Many Fonts.
I'll be releasing it at an unofficial BookCrossing Zone here in Bellingham.
