Border Music is the story of Jack and Linda, of long, hot days on a high desert ranch, nights wild with loving beneath West Texas skies, and times when their relationship tears them both apart. It's about Vietnam and the Midwest, and Vaughn Rhomer, an old man who tries in his own fumbling way to be free. It's about men and women who work hard and care intensely, about romance and the passion that you only find once... and you never stop wanting to find again.

I received this from Tribefan for my University of Waterlo Mass Release. I'll be placing this book somewhere in one of the arts buildings (sorry, but I'm not making a special trip over to the building where the music courses are offered, it's not worth it for a book or two and I'm lazy!). Thanks for your help!

Journal Entry 5 by Kumiko8 from Waterloo, Ontario Canada on Thursday, January 19, 2006
This little book was sitting on an empty stool, in a big university building (Davis Centre), where dozens of people walked by, unnoticing. I rarely go into that building and was delighted to find my first Book Crossing book. It isn't my kind of book but will pass it along to my mother soon.
