This is definitely a sweeping saga and had all the elements that tend to please me when I read them but somehow, it just didn't do it for me. I know so many other people who have just raved about this book but I can't agree with them. The Jack the Ripper stuff was too gory and the coincidences were too many. And ultimately, the book was unnecessarily long.

My sister bought this book and i have been reading it off and on for a few months. I am a student so i dont have time to read. I love this book soo much so far. I am intersting to learn how the girl turns out to become. I am trying to take my time becasue i dont want the story to end. Marla
