I read Wicked by Maguire some time ago and recommended this one for one of my book groups.

I wasn't happy with this book at all. Unlike Maguire's Wicked; The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, Mirror, Mirror had no real focus. He flitted the narrative from character to character without connecting their respective stories. There were also these wierd, midly erotic scenes that just didn't make any sense at all and didn't add to or explain key elements of the story. I was really expecting more from this book.
