A nice little book of B&W news photos from the decade in which I was born. It covers everything from a meeting between Gerald Ford and Leonid Brezhnev to Margaret Thatcher to the astonishing Tina Turner to the Iranian hostage crisis. Captions in English, German and French.
I'm setting this aside for Badgerjim.

I'd seen the 1950s volume in this series and enjoyed it--I liked this one too. Like the 1950s volume, there's an emphasis upon European photos, especially from the UK. This one does seem to have more pictures of violence and destruction than the 1950s version. Overall, a very enjoyable book. Thanks again, florafloraflora!
