I found this book this morning at Port City Java, I was there with my 2 year old son so the title caught my eye - as did the "I'm Free" post-it. It was a good, quick read and I'll definitely look for this author's other books. Her musings on motherhood were dead on! This was also my first experience with bookcrossing and I think its a wonderful idea, I hope to continue this book's journey. A good "mommy" friend of mine is leaving for a cruise in the carribean tomorrow so I plan on giving her the book. I think she will enjoy it and hope she'll leave it behind for someone else to "catch" - who knows where it could end up . . .Thanks Jess and Vic for leaving it, you've inspired me to start registering some of my books at bookcrossing and leaving them to be found too!
I found this book on the cruise!!! It was Dec 11, 2004 when we found it. the nite before the day we disembarked. I had not been to the library the entire cruise and then we happened to see it on the way back to our room that nite. We went in and saw the book sitting on a card/game table! I was so ecstatic b/c I too release books but none have yet to be caught!! I grabbed it and left it at my friend's house until now.. I was so excited to show her. I have not read it yet but I plan to and then pass it on! thanks so much!
