This was one of those books they make you read in high school...
Received as a RABCK from Dicentragirl in Washington while I was out of town last week. My book club will be reading The Jungle this month. I think it will make for an interesting discussion. Thank you!!!
Well unfortunately something came up and I wasn't able to attend my book club meeting last month. As a result, I opted to hold off on reading The Jungle. So for now, it remains on my TBR pile, but I hope to be able to get to it soon.
This is one of six books I raffled off in honor of my one year BookCrossing Anniversary. Trekwoman in Illinois is the lucky winner! Enjoy!!!

Arrived safely in the morning post, thank you! Can't wait to begin.
I wonder why this was never on my reading course in high school. Hrmm. I know I'd have remembered it.

Try though I might, I could not immerse myself in Jurgis' story. However, I skimmed through it and can see that any little bit is as relevant today as the day it was written- that's why it's a classic.
