What’s not to like about a book with 'Chocolate' in the title?
This is one of the few children’s books that I didn’t want to see end. I truly enjoyed reading about the Bubble Gum Gang. Carla is excited about the school play, but when a mystery pops up, the play and Carla’s part takes a back seat. Some jewellery is missing from the store where Carla’s perfect sister works. Can Carla, Samantha and Betsy solve the mystery and figure out who took the jewellery?
My favourite character was Carla. I could relate to her wanting to eat in times of trouble.
I would recommend this book to children or teens or even adults who like to read children’s books.
I’ll be sure to keep an eye out for other Bubble Gum Gang mysteries at library book sales.
