Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas!
I picked this up at the Memphis BookCrossers Christmas party. What a great gathering it was! We had so much good food provided by all the BookCrossers, lots of coffee, and a great deal of fellowship and laughter. It was a wonderful experience!

update 10 Feb 2007: The writing in this story is exquisite. I think it has more to do with the descriptive tendancies of Eastern languages more than it does the author's individual talent. The imagery used to depict the simplest things - including the loss of virginity - is so fluid. I got lost in the text over and over again. I even added a few lines about adversity to my list of favorite passages (see bottom of bookshelf main page).

Thanks. My husband might read this first. I'll make him journal it too if he does.
I finally had time to read this on vacation. It really has more depth than I originally thought. A perfect vacation read.
