It's a new month... time for some new bug fixes!
While Matt is still working on harnessing the book data that we all have contributed to, and making it available for searches, he's also been rather busy fixing other things, and even adding some nifty little features. Read all about it in this Announcements forum post.

This is a very US-centric "dummies" guide[*] which seems primarily aimed at rookie travellers. There isn't much of substance for the seasoned international traveller. This is the kind of book that may be worthwhile as a summarized "reminder", if you can get it for a couple of bucks or less in a "dollar shop", like I did. There may be slight inaccuracies or out-of-date information in the book, but other than that, a quick sift through its pages can't really do anyone any harm as such. It's still really just a crude starter guide for beginners, though.

[*] NB not an official "...for Dummies" book, far from it, as far as quantity, quality and substance are concerned!

Walking in the shopping mall, I catch a glance of this book twoce, when finally i got tired of following my girlfriend to every shoe store i went back and picked it up, sat in a bench and read the whole thing, I love the concept of "book releasing"
and YES! I will start doing the same thing!
The book is a very basic view of some already known facts, but a very good reminder of these already known and often ignored facts
As an old backpacker myself I found it quite "soft" on its approach to traveling.
