Branding the Texas Rangers as "the oldest and most famous law enforcement body in North America," Stacy Keach produced and directed this show that re-enacted actual Texas Ranger case histories. Premiering in July 1950, popular cowboy star Joel McCrea played the title role of Ranger Jace Pearson. For three years the "Rangers" fought to enforce law and order in the 266,807 square miles of hot, dusty Texas turf. 6 cassettes contain 12 half-hour radio presentations.
