One of the "Anne of Green Gables" continuations. Anne takes a job as a school principal in a town far from, and encounters some lovely characters and some real challenges.
The tone of this book always seemed different to me than the ones before and after it in the series. I learned that it was written much later than the others, to fill in the hole in Anne's life. That would also explain why the newly introduced characters don't appear in later books in the series. All the same, any of L.M. Montgomery's books are sure to charm and enchant.
