This is the first Maeve Binchy book I've ever read. What have I been missing all this time? It's not world-shaking, thought-provoking, great "lit-tra-chure." But it's pleasant people, good writing, and an enjoyable way to spend hours: reading a lovely, well-written story with a delightful ending.

I will be looking for more of her books to read.
