I started reading this but I couldn't follow it. Maybe someone else will do better with it!

Thankyou Lost Girl! I received this book in the mail today and will read and release soon. Oct 3: I read this book and found it well written and quite believable . Interesting how a man can get inside a woman's head that way. Kind of a dark tale of love degenerating into horrible abuse and the inner strength and rage that Paula discovered in herself to finally take control. I love it when I find references to my fave.musician Van Morrison in books and movies and there is a neat bit here using lyrics from Tupelo Honey. Anyhow this is my first Roddy Doyle and am looking forward to reading more hopefully some of his humour.
Instead of doing the usual release "into the wild" I mailed this on to another Bookcrossing member in BC, CANADA. Hope you enjoy it!

Just received this in the mail today from minerswifebb (thankx again!), and in return I sent her another Roddy Doyle book, "The Commitments". I read this one several years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it; I look forward to reading it again.
