Picked up for trade or release. Larson is a very funny man...We are all so used to his cartoons, I thought someone might like to see his picture.

This is my contribution in the second RABCK sweepsteak. My big dilemma was do I send a book I love, or a book I think the recipient will love, or a book that has local themes here, or, or, or...

But then I decided that if this recipient is the winner and gets 92 books at their door, then they will probably appreciate a THIN book, that is an easy read, that also has a great likelihood of being picked up.

So- Gary Larson seemed a natural. We keep several of his books in our reading room (you know, the one with the porcelain throne that flushes) for the entertainment of all.

My question is: Do you look good in a tiara?

I can remember first reading Gary Larson's comics in the Sunday paper. We have several of his books here, however I can't remember if I ever read this one.

So far I have been amazed by the thought that people have put into the books they sent, and the variety of books I have seen leaving envelopes.

I'll definatly have fun releasing this one when it goes out. Now to just find a suitable place...

Lincoln Park Zoo

Book was left encircled in the paws of the lion statue on Clark and Armatige (In front of the Zoo administration building).

I choose this release spot due to the enjoyment that Larson's lions have given me over the years :)

I found a photo of the statue released on. The book was left cuddled up in the paw curve of the formost lion which faces towards Clark street.
