In this tale of espionage and suspense, the President of the USA and two visiting Middle Eastern heads of state are on the way from San Fransico to inspect the site of a new American-Arab oil refinery. In the middle of the Golden Gate Bridge the Presidential motorcade is waylaid by a most uncommon criminal who begins a civilized reign of terror aimed at bringing him a king's ransom. And with the world watching via a commandered TV network, the kidnappers booby-trap the towers of the bridge with explosives as their second threat: to plunge the Golden Gate Bridge into the waters of San Franciso Bay.
