I very much enjoyed this Oprah book. It has everything one could want -- likeable characters, suspense, poetic writing, etc. Another wonderful pick by Oprah.

Not at all. Really have to thank you for sending this book to me. I thought it was expensive here in The Netherlands to mail outside our country but boy new Zealand is worse!!

I have wanted to read this book for a long time.
Just this week the movie with Sissy Spacek was shown on Dutch TV, but I did not watch it, because I always prefer to read a book first. (So I can make up the faces)

I will tell you my thoughts on the book when I start reading.

sorry it took me so long. Not feeling to great lately.
had a nighmare last night, thought i had ended up as a bookhoarder and everybody hated me cause I did not send books I had promised.

I am way in over my head, but at least 2 books shipped today. :-)

Marlene! What an awful nightmare to have. Don't ever think that... we understand your problems with shipping and no one, least of all me, would ever think you were a hoarder. I have trouble enough reading and sending books too. Hugs!

Besides, better late than never, isn't what the saying says? The book has arrived safely and quickly and I can't thank you enough for sending it. I'm really curious about this one... I saw it in some bookshelves while browsing them but never did found myself asking for them, so when I did catch it on TitleTrader, there was no hesitation.
