I don't actually know where this book came from, I think maybe the book box in my office. Anyway having only ever seen one James Bond movie before and having read zero of the stories, I'm keen to read this one.

Oh James Bond you disappointed me so. I was really expecting to enjoy this book. I've only ever seen one of the films and although I'm not a blockbuster style movie fan I remember enjoying the show. This book was poorly constructed even though all the elements were there. It was like someone had purchased all the best ingredients and failed to combine the properly which left the cake tasting stale. Such a shame, Bond and I could have had a very long and loving literary future together but for now it doesn't seem to be in the cards.

This book is being sent to another Bookcrossing member in trade, I really hope Atenea_Nike enjoys this book more than I did or I'll feel guilty for having sent it heh heh.

Hello Inkognitoh! I came home wet and cold to find a book waiting for me - it was most heartwarming :)
I will put it in my tbr pile, which is moving surprisingly fast these days, and let you know what I thought of it afterwards.

I have to agree with Inkognitoh. The bad guy was unbelievably bad, and I mean it - I just didn't buy it. Bond is not as smart, witty, sexy and strong as he's depicted in the movies, and the whole plot is lousy. Bad bad bad.
