If you haven't read any of Stephen Hunter's books dealing with the Swagger family (I think there are 6 now) and you like mystery/action/crime drama, you really ought to try them. I think the first was Point of Impact, but nearly all of them have gone backward in time from there, so it really doesn't matter what order you read them in. In addition to these two, look for "Dirty White Boys", "Pale Horse Coming", and "Black Light", and (I think) "Time to Hunt". You'll thank me later!

He also wrote a book called "The Day Before Midnight" that is probably the quickest-paced story I've ever ready. I still can't figure out why it hasn't been made into a movie yet.

I've just recieved Hot Springs from my friend Jim Cota. As I am currently reading Black Light by the same author (Stephen Hunter) I am anxiously awaiting the start of this story.
