The Lilac Bus
3 journalers for this copy...
This is a good collection of eight inter-related stories involving the seven regular passengers and driver of a lilac bus in Ireland. Fascinating fiction.

Received today, to be read asap. Thanks, Merinda.
It took me a long time to get around to this book, but I eventually did, and I'm glad did it. I like the way the book is written, taken one character at a time, all of them travelling together on a same bus every friday. Then I was a bit confused with the last four stories and only after a while did I realise they are a different thng and have nothing to do with The Lilac Bus stories. It is the second time something like this happens to me and I'm always annoyed that editors don't make it clear in the book cover that the book contains more than one thing. Going back to the Lilac Bus stories, although I liked them a lot, I think some of them end too openly and a kind of final sum up of al the separate stories would have been nice. Thank you so much, Merinda, for the chance to read this book. I will send it as a surprise RABCK to Elsita during the next days.

Thank you so much, Pequete, for the late Xmas present...and for the postcard!
I haven't read this one yet :)
And do you believe that you were the only one who presented me with a book this Xmas? That is special...
Hugs, Elsita

I really liked the Lilac Bus stories, but as Pequete, I felt I would like to know much about it, the story ends when it starts catching us...
