Wow! Today I found three bookcrossing books out in the wild - well, safe and warm in Leppävaara library, in fact. I have hunted down bookcrossing books before, but these were the first ones I have caught without having been on the lookout! I didn't receive any release notes, nor had I looked at the "go hunting" pages - this was a sheer coincidence! Yay!
Crime and thriller books are not really to my taste, but I just had to take all three books with me, since I was so excited about my first truly random catches. The two other books I will most likely to release in the very same spot where I found them, but this one I'd like to reserve for later release. I'm piling up some books to be released at a sci-fi event, and this looks perfect for that purpose.

RELEASE NOTES:
I'm going to release 64 sci-fi, fantasy, horror and related books during Finncon 2006. This will be my second largest mass release and my all-time largest themed release. I hope my books find lots of new readers this way!
I'll leave most of my books in the staff recreation room (or rather, my fellow bookcrossing Semming is going to do that for me) so that the volunteers can have a bit of an extra reward for their work. Some of the books I'm going to release just anywhere in Paasitorni, for anyone to find.

Vapautan tämän vuoden Finnconiin 64 erilaista sci-fi-, fantasia- ja kauhukirjaa. Tämä vapautusisku on toiseksi suurin koskaan tekemäni ja itse asiassa kaikkein suurin teemavapautukseni.
Valtaosa kirjoista päätynee (Semmingin ystävällisellä avustuksella) henkilökunnan taukotiloihin. Finnconissa työskentelevät vapaaehtoiset voivat näin saada ylimääräisen pikku palkkion työstään. Osan kirjoista vapautan kuitenkin muualle Paasitorniin, jotta myös osanottajilla on mahdollisuus niitä löytää.
Jos löysit kirjan, onneksi olkoon ja hauskoja lukuhetkiä! Toivottavasti kirjoitat kirjasta jonkinlaisen merkinnän bookcrossing-sivuille, jotta tiedän, missä kirjani Finnconin jälkeen vaeltavat!
